We took Emerson to a local pumpkin festival on Sunday to pick out a pumpkin. Well, we didn't actually attend the festival...we got there and I found out there was an admission which was crazy because there wasn't much to do but look at pumpkins and listen to horrible music. Luckily, the festival had tons of pumpkins displayed out front and you could buy them without paying the admission fee. As you know, I normally don't mind spending money, but I wanted to get to Target and home to paint Emerson's room.

OMG, Kim took my comment! Tell Jim Emerson's hair is the same color of the pumpkins!!! She looks like she's having fun! Can't wait to see Emerson's new painted room!
