Fun in the Sun

Emerson and I went to Katelyn's house to swing yesterday, and Emerson go to do much more than swing. The girls also went swimming in the baby pool, played in the sandbox, and road Katelyn's four-wheeler (see photo). Emerson had a blast. Thanks to Katelyn for making Emerson play so hard that she got a good night of sleep and let mommy and daddy sleep in today!

The Pony

I rarely wear my hair in a ponytail because it's too short. However, over the weekend, I pulled it back to take a relaxing bath. Emerson came in to the bathroom and screamed "PONY", and I thought she was talking about her horse. Oh no, she spotted my ponytail and repeatedly shouted "want pony" until I was able to get her hair into a ponytail. Of course, she doesn't let me brush it so she always ends up with a wild, messy pony, but it sure is cute.

Happy Easter

Happy Easter! Emerson was an absolute peach at Easter mass (except for the last 5 minutes). The church must have been playing some good tunes because Emerson danced for a good portion of the mass, and when she wasn't dancing she was eating!

On a side note, I would prefer not to go to church on Easter. I can't believe the amount of people that attend on Easter. Where are these people every other Saturday or Sunday throughout the year?!?

My Sweet Pea

Emerson has been such a sweet girl lately. She still throws an occasional fit, but they seem to be less often. I'm a little concerned though because our pediatrician told us that the terrible two's will begin anytime and could last a couple of years....a couple of years?!?!? Also, at our doctor appointment, we found out that Emerson is in the 80th percentile for height and weight. I was not suprised by the weight because my girl loves her food but I was surprised that she isn't a runt like me!

We are looking forward to Easter on Sunday. Emerson is hoping that the bunny living under our deck will come out for a visit. I will post Easter pictures soon.

The Not So Good Driver
