I have mentioned before that Emerson loves bananas, but I must say that she is crazy in love with her nanas. She and Jim eat a banana every morning, and Emerson has learned to go sit in her spot and wait for her banana. However, if she spots the bananas on the kitchen counter, she throws a screaming fit. I have a cute tape of her throwing a nana fit, but I can't get it downloaded on this blog.
On another note, Emerson had her one year doctor's visit this week. She's up to 21.5 pounds. We thought for sure she weighed more than that with all the food she consumes. Our doctor's visit was pretty uneventful except that Emerson threw a screaming fit when the nurse laid her on the table for shots...but the shots didn't seem to bother her. We did find out that she is cutting molars so that may be the reason for her being fussy lately.
