Unfortunately, my mom and Larry lost their home in the storms this past weekend. In the above picture, you can see where the mud slid off the hill and several trees crashed into their house. Most importantly, mom, Larry and the dogs are okay. And mom will get a new house out of the deal like she's been wanting for years. Jim and I are trying to talk them into moving closer to Emerson!

Wow - that's so scary!!! I'm so sorry about their loss, even if they are going to get a new house out of the deal. What a sucky way to move! Where will they be staying in the meantime?
I think Emerson somehow has something to do with the storm to get grandma to move closer to her! I heard she needed more clothes from the Gap! I hope things go as smoothly as possibly for our mom.
