If you ask Emerson to say "cheese" for the camera, this is what you get. Luckily, I caught her with her eyes open for this picture!
Emerson has developed into a silly, fun girl, and Jim and I wonder if she's going to be an actress when she's older. Over the weekend, we were going into Old Navy and Jim said something about it having low prices, and Em started quoting an office supply commercial about low prices. Of course, I don't watch commercials so Jim had to tell me what she was talking about.
So far, the 2s have been good...we got rid of the pacifier and diapers and we are now trying to eliminate the whining and crying. She's getting better, but I think it's a girl thing so it probably won't go away completely.
We are leaving for vacation this weekend so I will post some beach pictures once we return.

I can't believe how long her hair is getting! I hope she has fun on the beach! I think all kids love commercials and infomercials, Kate and Sloan used to quote them word by word! And if you can figure out the whining let me know, maybe I can use it on an 11 year old!
Oh Dawn, the whining and crying is NOT just a girl thing. Asher has totally been Mr. Whiny Butt over the past couple of months! Good job on ditching the pacifier and diapers...we're slowly working toward those goals ourselves, and you give me hope that we'll eventually get there!
Kim, the elimination of the pacifier wasn't bad. Em only used it at bed time, so when we took it away for good, we had a couple of bad nights and then she forgot all about it. It won't be as hard as you think.
She is so grown up now :) and so adorable. Congrats on the no diapers and pacifer what great milestones to be done with!
