Growing Up So Fast

I haven't had much time to blog lately, so I'm sure Em has conquered many milestones over the last several months that I have forgotten to mention. She is becoming such a cute, smart little girl. It seems like each day she adds words to her vocabulary and she gets excited when we let her know how smart she is.

We are also going to start potty training. Em has been fascinated with poop for some time now, and she is growing interested in the toilet. We learned some tricks from a daycare we recently visited so we are going to try them out. This morning and tonight before bed, I asked Emerson if she wanted to pee on the potty, and both times she went to the toilet and lifted the seat. I pulled off her diaper and sat her on the toilet....not realizing that she has a little butt...much unlike her mom. Anyway, we are going to buy a little girl potty and slowly get her interested in using it. It could still take months to get her potty trained, but since she seems interested we are going to take advantage of it...just think of all the dollars we could save on not buying diapers!

Your daughter, interested in poop? Now how can that be?????? If you get her potty trained I'll be jealous, Sloan was 37 months before she did it! I love Em's hair and cute little red cheeks!

Oh, we are just going to introduce her to potty training and see how it goes. It could take her 20 months to get it! We were at Goddard the other day and there was a potty trained 16 month old, but her older sister was just potty trained and she was very interested in it too!

I can't get over how much her appearance is changing. She's really starting to look like a little girl, Dawn! Such sweet pictures...
