We recently bought a jogging stroller, and Emerson and I (and Cosmo) have been out trying it out this week. It's amazing how much smoother it drives/rides than a regular stroller. We have been taking it out a couple of times a day and Emerson is completely enjoying it. She kicks back and gets relaxed. We have taken a couple of really long walks and she has slept for an 1-1/2 to 2 hours both times. That is amazing considering she usually has to be forced to nap.
Speaking of sleeping, with the exception of last night, Emerson has been sleeping really well at night. I think that she is so busy during the day that she is worn out at bed time. She even fell asleep while playing yesterday (see below picture), and that has never happened! I am enjoying this increased amount of sleep since it allows me to get my much needed sleep. Let's hope it continues.

She's looking pretty stylin' in her fancy new ride! What kind did you get? I'm thinking about getting a new stroller for Asher - we just have the carseat one and a cheap umbrella stroller. Asher hates his carseat, so that one's a no go, and the umbrella one is rickety and not too comfy for a baby who can barely hold his head up.
I loved our jogging stroller, it was the best. Sloan practically lived in it! Oh and Kim, don't knock the dorky cheap umbrella strollers, seriously as soon as Asher's old enough to sit in it, its like the best invention ever!! Either that or I was just sick and tired of dragging that big carseat stroller in and out of the car! Em looks so darn sweet sleeping!!!
I got a Baby Jogger. Love it! I had planned on buying a Bob stroller since it is the most popular and very durable, but I did some research on the Baby Jogger and I liked some of its features better. Plus, it was $50 cheaper...gotta love that! If you are not planning to jog with it, you can probably buy a cheaper one. I have friends that have the Jeep one from Babies R Us and they seem to be happy with it.
I had the Baby Jeep, of course that was in the olden days! I liked it a lot though!!
Oh Dawn...how on earth did you know I wouldn't be jogging with it??? :) I think maybe I'll look into the Jeep one!
