Emerson sure loves to put on a show...I'm pretty sure that she's going to be in the drama club or theatre some day.

Emerson loved all of her Christmas gift, but her horsey was her most favorite gift.

Silly Girl

I rarely get Emerson to smile for the camera, but she was in an exceptionally good mood yesterday and was being cheesy for the camera. Hopefully, there are more smiles to come!

Em's Tree

Emerson loves her Christmas tree (pictured here pre-decorations). She can even say "tree."

Thanksgiving Day

Other than eating turkey for the first time, Thanksgiving Day was a normal day of play (as you can see by her toys scattered all over the living room) and entertaining for Emerson. She is quite the entertaining. If you laugh at her once for doing something, she does it over and over again. I think we are going to be in trouble some day because we even laugh at the bad things that we shouldn't be laughing at.

Emerson's vocabulary is increasing. It seems like every day she adds a new word to her vocabulary. My favorite new word is poop (Laurie, I know that you can't wait for Emerson to talk to you about poop)!

We will probably be decorating a Christmas tree this week (once we buy it), so this could make for some interesting Emerson stories....stay tuned for stories and pictures.

It's Never Too Early to Exercise

We recently bought a new treadmill, and after seeing Jim and me on it a few times, Emerson decided she wanted to try it out. When Jim first put her on it, we didn't think she would actually walk, but look, she really knows what she is doing. I wish I could get by with a 10 second workout.
